Health Flare is a calm, private journal for people living with chronic illness. Track symptoms, spot patterns, and share what matters, with everything staying on your device.
Chronic illness doesn't follow a clean schedule. Health Flare is designed for the full range: the good days, the hard ones, and everything in between.

Your health data is some of the most sensitive information that exists. We built Health Flare so we never see it. There is no server of ours to send it to.
Health Flare is not a medical device and isn't a substitute for professional care. It's a personal record to help you spot patterns and have better conversations at appointments — always consult a qualified clinician about symptoms or treatment.
I'm a parent of a child with a chronic illness, and a software developer with two decades in tech. Health Flare exists because our family needed it.
I was inspired by Flaredown (a pioneering open-source symptom tracker) and built Health Flare to carry that mission forward with a modern application that supports people living with chronic illness and the families and dependants caring alongside them.
I value privacy, transparency, and visibility in everything I build. I'm using AI and LLMs extensively in this project, not to cut corners, but to give a solo developer the capacity to properly serve an underserved community. Every line of code not written by me is reviewed and tested by me, held to the same standard I expect as both the app's author and one of its users.
Health Flare is live on the App Store for iPhone and on Google Play for Android. No account, no ads, nothing to sign up for.
